When I was a little girl, I told my grandmother I wanted to be a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and that’s exactly what I became. My childhood dream came true and grew into a coaching career spanning more than 30 years. I could never have made the DCC team without the unwavering love of my family and the incredible coaches who guided me along the way.
I’m a firm believer in education. My talents, abilities, and accomplishments are just building blocks on a strong foundation that has allowed me to expand my horizons and do what I love most is coaching and empower others.
Over the past three decades, I’ve had the privilege of coaching competitive sports, academic programs, money management, pageants, conduct, and etiquette.
I created LOVE & CHEERS to share the lessons I’ve learned with the world and I’m so excited to share them with you.
My journey as a successful gymnast opened doors to scholarships and led to my selection as Miss Dallas County 1992. Later, I fulfilled my dream of cheering for the world famous Dallas Cowboys during the 1997–98 season.
In 1995, I began working with Prudential Insurance and Financial Services, helping countless families protect what mattered most through life and disability insurance, wills, and trusts. It was an honor to become one of Prudential’s top producers, serving high net worth families, privately held businesses, publicly traded companies, and multinational corporations. As a benefits specialist, I provided corporate retirement planning, risk management, and business continuation planning for organizations such as Monster Cable and Texas Premium Foods.
In 2001, I founded Goodwin Financial, specializing in benefits planning, pension design, and succession planning for business owners as well as helping families transfer wealth successfully to the next generations. I later founded the World Investor Network, a forum for educating investors on global financial trends and opportunities. Its members include foundations, endowments, investment management firms, and family offices.
It’s a privilege to serve as a Charitable Advisor for the National Community Foundation. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Business Administration and Management from Dallas Baptist University, and I lecture widely on retirement planning, wealth preservation, and estate strategies.
