LOVE & CHEERS!

Meet Leah

When I was a little girl, I told my grandmother I wanted to be a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. And that’s exactly what I did. My childhood dream came true and turned into a 30+year coaching career. I could not have made the DCC team without the unwavering love and support from my family and the incredible coaches who helped me along the way.

I am a firm believer in education. My talents, abilities and accomplishments are small building blocks on a solid foundation that have empowered me to expand my horizon and do what I love most: coach.

Over the past 30 years, I have enjoyed coaching competitive sports, scholastics, money management, pageants, conduct and etiquette.

I established LOVE & CHEERS to share what I have learned with the Universe. I am so excited to share what I’ve learned with you.

My successful career as a gymnast helped me earn several scholarships and led to selection as Miss Dallas Co. 1992. Later I cheered for the world-famous Dallas Cowboys, 1997-98 season. In 1995, I began working with Prudential Insurance and Financial Services. For 6 years, she specialized in helping numerous families protect their loved ones through the proper implementation of life and disability insurance, wills, and trusts. It was an honor to become one of Prudential’s top producers working with high net worth families, privately held businesses, publicly held companies, and multi-national corporations. As a benefits specialist, I provided corporate retirement planning, risk management, and business continuation planning for numerous companies, including Monster Cable and Texas Premium Foods.

In 2001, I founded Goodwin Financial, which specializes in benefit- planning for pensions and succession planning for business owners. Goodwin Financial also specializes in planning and executing the successful transfer of wealth to second and third generations. I then founded the World Investor Network which provides a forum to educate investors on timely issues concerning the global financial environment. Members include foundations, endowments, investment management firms, and family offices.

Its a pleasure to serve as a Charitable Advisor of the National Community Foundation. I hold a bachelor’s degree in the Interdisciplinary Studies of Business Administration/Management from Dallas Baptist University and lecture widely on retirement planning, wealth preservation, and estate planning strategies.
